Ringless voicemail list quality
Clean your contact list before campaigning — identify mobile vs landline, filter ringless-ready numbers, and hold lines that will not take a message.

Delivery rates depend more on who is on your list than on your script. A strong list hygiene pass before your first campaign saves credits, speeds up outreach, and focuses dials on numbers that can actually take ringless voicemail.
Why list quality matters
Many B2B imports mix mobile, landline, and office VoIP numbers on the same sheet. Ringless voicemail works best on mobile lines. Landlines and many office lines will not accept a message the way a cell voicemail box will.
ripdr never removes contacts when you clean a list — you keep the full CRM record. Cleaning only labels each line and holds landline/office numbers from ringless campaigns until you choose otherwise.
Clean list for ringless
On Contacts, use Clean list (or Clean this group when a group is selected):
- ripdr runs a carrier lookup on each unidentified phone line.
- You pay one voicemail credit per unidentified line (already-identified lines are free to re-check).
- Results are saved on the contact: Mobile, Landline, VoIP, or Not checked.
After cleaning, the contacts table shows a badge under each phone number. Use the Line type filter to find Not checked, Ringless-ready, or Won't ringless contacts.
Before you start a campaign
When you create a campaign, the List review step on the final wizard screen shows:
- How many contacts are ready to dial
- How many landline/office lines are held (won't ringless)
- How many lines are still not checked
You can run Clean list from that step without going back to Contacts. Campaigns still start if lines are unchecked — ripdr dials unidentified numbers — but cleaning first is recommended so landlines do not consume queue time.
